The stars at night are big and bright, and the cocktails have a kick. That’s why Dallas-based bartender Scott Jenkins created this spicy tequila cocktail featured in D Magazine and Texas Monthly. Crisp Patrón Silver, fresh bell pepper, and strawberry make the Ocaso one cocktail you’ll want to try ASAP.

Ocaso Cocktail Recipe

Ocaso Cocktail Recipe

  • 2 oz Patrón Silver
  • .75 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • .5 oz Aperol
  • .25 oz Agave syrup
  • .375 oz Cardamaro
  • + 2 Strawberries
  • + 2 Strips of red bell pepper ¼ inch wide
  • Garnish:Red serrano pepper
  1. Muddle pepper and strawberry in a shaker tin.
  2. Add all additional ingredients and ice to tin.
  3. Shake hard to chill and combine.
  4. Double strain into a rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with a red serrano pepper.
