Piedra Quemada

It will only take one sip of this spirit-forward digestif with a hint of fire to set your heart aflame.
Recipe Ingredients
| 1.5 oz | Gran Patrón Piedra |
| .25 oz | St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur |
| .25 oz | Rustic syrup* |
| 1 | Strawberry |
| 1 | Coffee bean |
| 1 | Lemon twist |
| 45 ml | Gran Patrón Piedra |
| 7.5 ml | St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur |
| 7.5 ml | Rustic syrup* |
| 1 | Strawberry |
| 1 | Coffee bean |
| 1 | Lemon twist |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Combine St. Germain and rustic syrup* in a old fashioned glass with ice.
- Separately, serve Gran Patrón Piedra in a short-stemmed glass.
- Add strawberry, coffee bean and lemon twist.
- Heat the glass to make a little flame and cook all ingredients, drop the mixture into flame on the glass with ice and St. Germain.
*Rustic syrup:
Combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring until combined. While the syrup is still warm, add 1 lemon twist, 1 vanilla stick, 1 star anise, 1 small piece of cinnamon, leave to infuse for 3 hours. Strain out solids and store syrup in the refrigerator up to two weeks.
