Inspired by true Mexican ingredients like prickly pear and iconic grapefruit soda, this cocktail is perfect to take outdoors on a hot summer day.
Recipe Ingredients
| 1.5 oz | Patrón Reposado |
| .75 oz | Prickly pear purée |
| .5 oz | Lime juice |
| .25 oz | Cane syrup |
| + | Pinch of salt |
| + | Top with grapefruit soda |
| + | Grapefruit slice |
| 45 ml | Patrón Reposado |
| 22.5 ml | Prickly pear purée |
| 15 ml | Lime juice |
| 7.5 ml | Cane syrup |
| + | Pinch of salt |
| + | Top with grapefruit soda |
| + | Grapefruit slice |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Shake all ingredients in a shaker except the grapefruit soda with ice.
- Strain into rocks glass over ice.
- Top with grapefruit soda.
- Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
