Taste the summer sun with this fruity, modern cocktail made with bergamot and Patrón Reposado.
Recipe Ingredients
| 2 oz | Patrón Reposado |
| 1.25 oz | Verjus |
| .75 oz | Bergamot liqueur |
| .25 oz | Simple syrup |
| + | Lime coated with gold leaf for garnish |
| + | Strawberry-pepper rim |
| 60 ml | Patrón Reposado |
| 37.5 ml | Verjus |
| 22.5 ml | Bergamot liqueur |
| 7.5 ml | Simple syrup |
| + | Lime coated with gold leaf for garnish |
| + | Strawberry-pepper rim |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Add all ingredients to a tin with ice and shake to chill.
- Crush dried strawberries and red pepper using a pestle and mortar.
- Coat lime slice with gold leaf.
- Moisten the rim of the glass and dip into the strawberry and pepper mix.
- Add one large ice cube to the glass and strain drink over it.
- Garnish the rim with the gold-coated lime.
