Enjoy this Los Angeles-inspired Margarita of the Year contender, a lychee margarita featuring chia seeds for a fresh pop of flavor.
Recipe Ingredients
| 1.5 oz | Patrón Reposado | 
| .75 oz | Citrónge Orange Liqueur | 
| 1 oz | Lime juice | 
| .5 oz | Lychee syrup* | 
| .5 oz | Ginger syrup (such as Monin or Ginger Reál) | 
| + | Whole lychee for garnish | 
| + | Sprinkle of chia seeds and salt for rim | 
| 45 ml | Patrón Reposado | 
| 22.5 ml | Citrónge Orange Liqueur | 
| 30 ml | Lime juice | 
| 15 ml | Lychee syrup* | 
| 15 ml | Ginger syrup (such as Monin or Ginger Reál) | 
| + | Whole lychee for garnish | 
| + | Sprinkle of chia seeds and salt for rim | 
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill.
 - Strain onto fresh ice in a glass rimmed with a 50/50 blend of chia seeds and kosher salt.
 - Garnish with lychee to the sounds of classic Mexican guitar.
 
*Lychee syrup: Empty the complete contents of a can of peeled/pitted lychees into a blender. Blend until completely liquefied, then strain through a mesh strainer to remove solids.
