Tamarind Margarita
Smoke and a touch of tang shine alongside a touch of spice in this elevated margarita featuring Gran Patrón Smoky.
Recipe Ingredients
| 2 oz | Gran Patrón Smoky |
| .75 oz | Tamarind purée |
| .75 oz | Cinnamon agave syrup |
| .25 oz | Fresh lime juice |
| 1 dash | Angostura bitters |
| + | Tajín rim |
| + | Lime wedge for garnish |
| 60 ml | Gran Patrón Smoky |
| 22.5 ml | Tamarind purée |
| 22.5 ml | Cinnamon agave syrup |
| 7.5 ml | Fresh lime juice |
| 1 dash | Angostura bitters |
| + | Tajín rim |
| + | Lime wedge for garnish |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- Shake until chilled and diluted.
- Strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass rimmed with Tajín.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
