How Instagram Influencers Turn Patrón Bottles Into Art

Nov. 2, 2016

It’s no secret DIY projects can magically transform your home— and make you feel pretty great about yourself. But how does one get started?

Here, seven ingeniously crafty Instagram influencers share their tips for transforming Patrón bottles into masterpieces in honor of the Art of Patrón Bottle Art Contest. Although you can no longer enter the contest, voting on the submissions starts this month!

Meanwhile, peruse these inspired creations and let their work set your own creativity free.

Clay Decanter

Ashley Rose from SugarandCloth.com admits that it took “several tries” to achieve a satisfying final result she was happy with—but this decorative clay decanter is worth keeping spare bottles on hand to attempt one for yourself.

A self-proclaimed bottle stockpiler, Victoria Smith of SFGirlbyBay.com filled her Patrón empties with pink and green sand before placing pastel tones on top with long tweezers. The result? A masterpiece.

Pitcher

Home entertainers know that you can never have too many pitchers, especially when they’re beautiful to look at. Andrew Wise of LifeTailored.com added subtle silver dots to his Patrón bottle, creating something as beautiful as it is functional.

Lamp

Natalie Migliarini and James Migliarini of BeautifulBooze.com took inspiration from Natalie sister’s lamp, and set out to create their own with a Patrón bottle, small tiles and fine copper wire.

Milk Glass Vases

To create this fireplace altar, Lexi Kritzer of GlitterInc.com incorporated a variety of stunning glassware, all from empty Patrón bottles.

Succulent Planter

Using a glass cutter—not to mention a Patrón margarita to kick-start her creativity!—Devon Rachel of DevonRachel.com created this succulent planter, an artistic accent for either inside or outside her home.

Lightbulb

Talun Zeitoun of TalunZeitoun.com channeled his love for birds—and his appreciation for the wild stylings of fashion designer Alexander McQueen—to jazz up his Patrón bottle with a very Black Swan-esque feel.
