1.5 oz Patrón Añejo
1 oz Ginger beer
.75 oz Lime juice
.5 oz Agave syrup*
.5 oz Averna
2 Jalapeño coins
+ Cherry for garnish
45 ml Patrón Añejo
30 ml Ginger beer
22.5 ml Lime juice
15 ml Agave syrup*
15 ml Averna
2 Jalapeño coins
+ Cherry for garnish

Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.

How to Make

  1. In the bottom of a mixing glass, muddle one jalapeño coin and agave syrup.*
  2. Add remaining ingredients except ginger beer and shake with ice to chill.
  3. Strain onto fresh ice in a mule mug and top with ginger beer.
  4. Garnish with a jalapeño coin and a cherry on a pick.

*Agave syrup: Mix 2 parts agave syrup to 1 part water.
