What better way to welcome the newest member of the Patrón family, Extra Añejo, to the world than by seeing it up close and personal? With the new augmented reality app from Patrón, you don’t even need a bottle of the finely oak-aged spirit (although we certainly recommend it!). All you need is an iPhone with iOS 11 and The Patrón Experience to bring the power of handcrafted tequila to your tabletop (or bar top). Grab a drink and download the app, you’re about to see tequila in a whole new dimension.
What is The Patrón Experience?
The Patrón Experience is an augmented reality look into Hacienda Patrón to experience the processes firsthand that make Simply Perfect tequila. Using the app on an iOS 11 supported phone, you can explore the world of Patrón on any flat surface as if it was actually in front of you.
Where do I start?
First you’ll need to download The Patrón Experience app. Open it and point your camera at any flat surface. From there, tap your screen to plant an agave onto your tabletop and watch as the plant begins to bloom and the Jalisco landscape come to life right in front of your eyes. Chat with the augmented bartender to learn about each tequila’s flavor notes and origin story and explore the whole new world around you.
