Making Use of Reducing
Reducing waste, lessening emissions and limiting noise, all methods of lowering environmental impact, have allowed Patrón to become an industry leader in helping Mexico’s environment. Reducing environmental impact on the community and country as whole have earned Patrón a Clean Industry Certification and ISO 14001 Certified, stamps of approval on our eco-efforts. Patrón has specifically made strides in reducing harmful air emissions by shifting the distillery to a natural gas pipeline that has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 200 tons in 2016. Along with using cleaner energy sources, Patrón utilizes acoustic screens around the cooling towers at our facilities to reduce and contain the noise that goes out into the surrounding area to keep noise pollution low for the community. Implementing these improvements has made Patrón more green than ever.
