Get Hooked on Summer’s Seductive New Cocktail

Looking for something new to sip this season? With tangy sour ale and sweet coconut liqueur, this sugar cane–laced cocktail crafted by Jason Littrell exclusively from our Secret Dining Society event in Philadelphia just might become one of your signature summer drinks. It’s in your best interest to whip one up lickety split—promise.
A LICK AND A PROMISE
- 1 ½ oz Patrón Silver
- ½ oz pink grapefruit juice
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ¾ oz coconut liqueur
- 3 oz Flemish Sour Ale
- + cucumber garnish
Shake all ingredients (except sour beer) and strain into a collins glass. Add cubed ice (or a collins spear), and top with sour beer, garnish with layered cucumber wheels (if using Kold Draft or similar), or a cucumber strip if using a collins spear.
