What is caramel coloring in tequila, and why might it be used?
Barrel aging can sometimes change the color of the tequila, and caramel coloring is used to standardize that color. We don’t do that in Patrón Tequila. There’s no guessing, there’s just 3 ingredients: water, agave, and yeast.
