What color is tequila?
Tequila ranges from clear to golden amber, with color and flavor influenced by aging. Blanco, or silver tequila, is unaged and crisp; reposado is aged at least 2 months (although we age it for a minimum of 4 months) for a smooth, golden hue; añejo is aged at least 12 months for a deep amber color with rich flavors.
There are some exceptions. PATRÓN CRISTALINO is an aged tequila that’s been filtered through wood charcoal to create a crystal-clear clear tequila without losing the complexity of barrel aging.
