yes, there's a reason we messed up the words. at first glance, something can appear right, but if you look a little closer, you realize it is a little off. technically, tequila can include up to 1% of undisclosed ingredients — like caramel coloring, oak extract, glycerin, and sugar-based syrups — and still be called tequila. but not patrón. we'll never mess with our tequila. we make it the way we believe it should be with three simple ingredients, nothing else.
