| 1.5 oz | Patrón Añejo |
| .75 oz | Lemon juice |
| .5 oz | PX Sherry or Malmsey Madeira wine |
| .5 oz | Dark maple syrup or rich agave syrup |
| 1 | Whole egg |
| 1 | Star anise for garnish |
| 45 ml | Patrón Añejo |
| 22.5 ml | Lemon juice |
| 15 ml | PX Sherry or Malmsey Madeira wine |
| 15 ml | Dark maple syrup or rich agave syrup |
| 1 | Whole egg |
| 1 | Star anise for garnish |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill.
- Strain into the small tin and dry shake (without ice) to continue emulsification.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with star anise.
