French flavor gets a modern and spirit forward spin in this bright beet and citrus tequila cocktail.
Recipe Ingredients
| 1.5 oz | Patrón Silver |
| 1 oz | Homemade lime shrub (sherry vinegar, lime zest, salt and sugar) |
| .5 oz | Mandarine Napoleon |
| .5 oz | Homemade red beet syrup (red beet juice and sugar) |
| 2 dashes | Cilantro-lime bitters |
| + | Dried orange wheel for garnish |
| + | Fresh fennel for garnish |
| + | Lime wedge coated in red beet syrup and sugar for garnish |
| 45 ml | Patrón Silver |
| 30 ml | Homemade lime shrub (sherry vinegar, lime zest, salt and sugar) |
| 15 ml | Mandarine Napoleon |
| 15 ml | Homemade red beet syrup (red beet juice and sugar) |
| 2 dashes | Cilantro-lime bitters |
| + | Dried orange wheel for garnish |
| + | Fresh fennel for garnish |
| + | Lime wedge coated in red beet syrup and sugar for garnish |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
- Shake and strain into a chilled tumbler glass with ice cubes.
- Garnish with a straw, dried orange wheel, fresh fennel and a lime wedge that has been coated in red beet syrup and sugar.
