Enjoy this refreshing take on a margarita with the spice of jalapeño jam, bright tea and deep plum.
Recipe Ingredients
| 2 oz | Patrón Silver |
| 1 oz | Clarified lime juice |
| .5 oz | Homemade jalapeño jam |
| .25 oz | Epazote tea |
| .25 oz | Agave syrup |
| 4 dashes | Plum bitters |
| + | Smoked jalapeño caramel and tortilla salt rim* |
| 60 ml | Patrón Silver |
| 30 ml | Clarified lime juice |
| 15 ml | Homemade jalapeño jam |
| 7.5 ml | Epazote tea |
| 7.5 ml | Agave syrup |
| 4 dashes | Plum bitters |
| + | Smoked jalapeño caramel and tortilla salt rim* |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Add all ingredients except the plum bitters to mixing glass and stir to combine.
- Aromatize a chilled coupe glass with plum bitters and rim with smoked jalapeño caramel and tortilla salt.
- Double strain into the glass and serve.
*Made from tortilla leftovers and the solids of the jalapeño jam.
