Ingredients

  • oz
  • ml
2 oz Patrón Añejo
3 oz Grilled grapefruit juice*
3 oz Topo Chico or sparkling mineral water
1 oz Simple syrup
.75 oz Lime juice
60 ml Patrón Añejo
90 ml Grilled grapefruit juice*
90 ml Topo Chico or sparkling mineral water
30 ml Simple syrup
22.5 ml Lime juice

Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.

How to Make

  1. Add all ingredients, except Topo Chico, to a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously and strain into a collins glass filled with ice.
  3. Top with Topo Chico.
  4. Garnish with half a grapefruit wheel.

*Grilled grapefruit juice:
Cut one grapefruit in half and grill for 5 minutes until lightly charred. Allow to cool, squeeze and strain to remove pulp and seeds.
