Hailing from Edinburgh, Mike McGinty has had quite a career leading up to his latest milestone: Being named the UK’s Patrón Perfectionist with his delicious creation, The Bell of Jalisco. He started in the industry at The Big Red Teapot before opening The Voyage of Buck, a popular bar and restaurant in the West End of Edinburgh. When it comes to coming up with new cocktail ideas, Mike is inspired by the challenge of creating something his customers will love.
