Meet the Bartender

Roberto Berdecia

San Juan, Puerto Rico, USA

A native Puerto Rican, Roberto began his bartending career 14 years ago, and has held other notable roles in the industry, such as a professor at the Instituto de Banca y Comercio of San Juan. He’s certified by the Puerto Rico Bartender’s Association and has traveled around the world to perfect his skills. In the process, he’s been recognized for his work in many ways, including a first place finish in the World Class competition. The bar he co-owns with Leslie Cofresí, La Factoria, has also been named one of The Top 50 Bars in the World.
